Who we are
Freight Watch (“we”) provides route-specific shipping-disruption briefs. This policy explains what we collect and why, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
What we collect
Your email, optional name and company, and the trade routes you choose to watch. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics (page views, signups) with no cross-site tracking. We do not collect payment card data — Razorpay handles payments and we only store the resulting plan and a payment reference.
Why we collect it
To deliver your briefs and alerts, operate your subscription, and improve the product. Your routes are used only to filter news for you; we do not sell or share them.
Legal basis & consent
We process your data on the basis of your consent (given at signup) and to perform the service you requested. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Retention & security
We keep your data while your subscription is active and delete it on request or within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe. Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure with daily backups.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com or using the unsubscribe link in any brief. We respond within statutory timelines.
Sub-processors
Email delivery (Resend), payments (Razorpay), and our hosting provider. Each processes data only to provide their service.
